A lady 2 doors down was surprised that her 'tabby' who popped along for sunday chicken each week was our george  :Luv2: he continued to visit even after he lost his stray status, he would play with her grandaughter so they were sad too when we lost him  :(

I just googled and http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1800047766/photo/590816

When I lived in Islington, I used to chat with an elderly man next door. One day he was out the back when Kylie appeared in his garden - he called out "Blackie"! - I said her name was Kylie and she was mine!!! - he said he had been looking after her for ages and always put a dish of water out for her  :-: - She didn't get that big on water  :shify:

Lovely! Don't know any fictional Lucifers though. There's a cat three doors down from us who used to come visiting (until The Munchkin duffed him up!) that we always called Kagoul (don't know why- OH said he just 'looked' like a Kagoul). Have since discovered his real name is Pepe but he'll always be Kagoul to us.

...of sorts.

One of our neighbours, whose garden backs onto ours, came round for the first time the other day to drop off some papers for our residents' group.  As he walked into the living room, he noticed Blip being a cliche and sitting on the rug.

'Lucifer!' he exclaimed.

'That's Blip' I corrected him.

'He [sic] comes into our garden' my neighbour said 'and my little girls [he has twins aged about five] love him.  They call him Lucifer after the cat in xxx.'

I put him right on Blip's gender and checked that he was happy with her visits, which he was.  Apparently the little girls regularly run out to try and cuddle Blip and she equally regularly high tails it back home before they reach her!

Anyway, I don't know of any fictional cats called Lucifer - anyone else know?  I imagine he's a black male cat, but I'm just guessing.
