I will read Pedro's story next and look forward to it! My Charlie had a REALLY long story on Catchat-he was born 7 years ago in the factory where i worked and has lived with me since last Nov!   :Luv2:
Some of his story is on here to if you get bored one day    (GB's or Charlie's new home with me-before that has probably been archived now? That was 'grey semi feral missing from Cramar cat rescue' then 'missing from Redditch'  -he's caused me some heartache that one!!!    )

I too am having 'a pyjama day-mind you most days are like that now i'm out of work

Take care

Most important thing first
Shirley welcome, I am delighted to tell you Olly still has his toe, vet was going to amputate and I remember saying ok toe today, paw tomorrow, leg the next day then what vets reply pts;poor Olly was forced to wear buster collar for very long time. He has sensitivity issues as a result of his injuries and vet decided to leave the sacral illiac pins in we did try to find him a home and almost succeeded but at the last minute young Pedro stole the home  if you want to know who Pedro is theres an old thread on Rescue/Rehoming called Diablo screams for life, its longer than a book but good reading
23rd May is my birthday too, enjoy your theatre trip.

I sensibly took my oxygen bottle to bed last night  well left it beside the bed and shut Olly out,now before I hear protests Olly has Olly time during my first half hour in bed after that he is happy to sleep downstairs.

Carol,Sue and Paddy I am having a pyjama day today  that means a lazy one.

Hi Teresa, i'm a newbie (well, to this thread, but do read it every day) and i have to say i think you're an amazing woman, coping with what you do and still making light of things that would terrify most people (me included!) I've been reading Olly's story (i have an Ollie!) and he is a beauty! I love black/black and whites, too! Sounds like he's really happy with you-did he have to have his toe amputated?

Enjoy your trip to London on 23rd May (my son's birthday and he lives there!) I'm going on 15th May to see Love Never Dies, the follow up to Phantom of the Opera which is the most wonderful thing !

I wish you all the best, you deserve it!

Goodness me Teresa - you certainly know how to live life on the edge.  There are people who would pay a small fortune for the sort of white knuckle rides you've been having lto hear ately. You must have heard of the craze of extreme ironing.  Well you've just invented its successor - extreme comfort breaks.     I'm glad you're now drinking well despite the difficulties it causes. Very wise.   Unknown to me my mum gave up drinking for similar reasons (in her case it was severe arthritis not lung probs) and narrowly avoided kidney failure.

Norty Olly - I remember his story but like Gill I didn't realise he was still with you.  Box his ears from me  :boxer: then give him a big cuddle  :catlove2:

I'm loving your stories but do try to have a quiet day tomorrow wont you

this going to the loo lark sounds dangerous!

When I came out of hospital the 2nd time after collapsing  on top stairs I was terrified of going to loo, I stupidly drank minute amounts to save the struggle up the stairs   now my confidence is restored I drink plenty and dont worry about such things, trouble is I have never fully got over panic breathing attacks, now I`ve had 2 really bad lacks of oxygen and panic breathing attacks been worse today, but I will get over it, feel certain if things got really bad my Olly would give me the meow kiss of life

Gill Ollie came to me in January 2008 after an appeal on this forum, he was at a vet after an RTA and was to be PTS unless someone came up with the money, he was the best 550.51 we ever spent and that was before we saw him. He was described as a 6month old female and so was called Holly until he came to us and I saw his bum :rofl:I dropped the H and he became Olly, he is currently the Purr Master General of Paws Inn. He is a black and white moggie, will have to get Claire to take his pic.

I wrote a big post and posted it and its gone
Olly tried to kill me, naughty boy got into bathroom during night, when I went in this morning locked myself in, sat on loo and began proceedings while hooking myself up to oxygen, sheer terror no oxygen my tubing had been bitten through, unable to stop what I was doing  I desperately had to try and piece broken tubing together in order to try and get some oxygen; if ever I decide on assisted suicide I guess Olly is the cat to see

Christine I did eat Beef Bourginon for dinner. I love macaroni cheese so maybe but then again I`ve just remembered I have some lovely Eccles cakes

Medicinal Doughnuts never again, o my have I been sick mind you I had 3 and then was forced to eat a custard slice

That'll learn ya, as (I have it on good authority) they say in Yorkshire.  Could you not indulge me with a medicinal glass of milk or a medicinal bowl of macaroni cheese?

Just having a medicinal crispy creme doughnut or two, almost killed myself earlier, desperate for loo decided it would be quicker to hook up to oxygen bottle to save time struggling with oxygen piping, getting desperate I took myself up quicker than I should and by time I was on loo I realised I was in trouble, turned up dial to double what I needed in a bid to get much needed oxygen and nothing happened  grabbed bottle and got to top of stairs and realised oxygen man had been so bottle still sealed, by now nothing was working inside the jellied numb mass I was ,a panicky Rob appeared and he was trying to open wrong valve then when he finally opened it he turned my oxygen off trying to be helpful  thankfully eldest son had heard commotion and came to my rescue and gave his dad a good telling off for trying to drag me off the stairs before I could get my breath, thinking about it that was scary so I deserve a 3rd crispy creme doughnut

Hope your weather is better than ours and a ray of sunshine pops itself out for you

Thanks Gill, just been out for an hour and too cold to last a minute longer, everytime I got into outside air it stung my lungs like crazy and started me coughing, still nice to escape for a while. Just started snowing here again.
Meant to update on weigh in which I did on Sunday, very disappointed as only 6 stone 13lbs,maybe I will reach the magical 7 stone next time.
