Think of all the MPs duck houses we've all paid for over the decades. Looking at my taxes since I left school Donald and Daffy should be tucked up in Duckingham Palace... I vote my future taxes get invested in something worthwhile like Aunty Teresa's tablets.  :naughty:

I have just had a phonecall from my GP regards my drug that they wouldnt prescribe, he has now obtained authorisation for this drug and written me out a prescription.
I am astounded by the cost of this drug

£1200 per day the world has gone mad.

Well, as a taxpayer can I just record that I view this as a most worthwhile investment.  Now let's see some results, ma'am  :Luv:

I second that

Please take care and keep well - no running before you can walk.  That means you do not go to the supermarket, you just sit at home and make sure you are nice and warm with your jelly babies and other sweeties.

Mary and Bonnie xx

Jelly babies in a big box are half price in Morrisons at the moment (so are wine gums but no dolly mixtures).  Send somebody out to get a stock for you  :).  Hope being at home is the tionic you need

I think this is a total disgrace and I wondereed why my brother who works in hospital keeps having breakdowns and depression because of his job.

It must be as bad for the caring staff as it is for rescues who cant find places for all the cats.

I think you should write to your MP Teresa and copy it to the PM.

I agree with Mary, you must stay at home, no galivanting around in public areas cos there is too much infection out there, so loads of time to get writing  :shify: :shify:

Stay warm and take care but do not deny yourself the care of your specialist if you need it

I like it - go home or you will get ill in hospital!!!    It's disgusting really.

Do you have to wait until your doctor has a sale on to get your prescription  :evillaugh: :censored:

Mary my great aunt was a nun called Sister Mary Magdalen, so I was Baptised Teresa Mary and chose the name Magdalen in my aunts honour when I was confirmed. Yes it is so spooky how alike Bonnie and Minimopsical are.

Hospital discharged me yesterday but specialist gave me a choice as to whether I stayed or went, bed manager took my bed in sideward on Sunday night and stuck me in main ward, specialist was concerned about the risk of me picking up infection as ward full of it and he felt I was safer at home and said I should have been left in safety of sideward, been coughing up copius amounts of blood since Sunday night and specialist was hopping mad that no one had informed him, the decision to leave was easy.He thinks that injections to prevent blood clots may have made thing worse with the bleeding and has given me medicine which should help stop the bleeding which is caused by lung damage.
Hospital pharmacy did not have one of the drugs I need and said to get own doctor to prescribe, we called at doctors on way home yesterday and were told doctor not allowed to prescribe it, Rob rang hospital pharmacy this morning and was told GP can prescribe but wont because it is hugely expensive and would come out of some funding or other so said it is political ,anyway hospital will try and get said drug by monday afternoon. Anyway still full of infection but at present its all upper respitory so not too worrying.
I swear I will stay at home and die before I go in hospital again.
