They want for you to show them a few moves, eh?  :-:

Bet that's it. They'll have Teresa teaching the security guards how to deal with slippery patients.... ;)

I think we need beware of rugby dives with an oxygen cylinder, so steel toed boots maybe needed

Going to need more than that, seen by 2 docs so far today and have been told I wont be going home after all.

Morning Teresa. :) I let my cousin (the aforementioned nurse) read your post about your hospital experience. She was so disgusted, she swore. (And believe me she swears less than pretty much every other person I know!) She told me she was mortified and appalled by the representation of her profession and said if you want any information regarding making an effective formal complaint you're more than welcome to email her. (I'll PM her address if you decide you want to.) She informs me the Staff Nurse could have her pin taken off her for this.

Hoping you're having a good day.   It's good to see the escape plan in place.... ;)

I feel I am being invaded by some super being, guess I better not start thread asking opinions on this

Well, bacteria were here long before we came and they'll still be here after we've all long gone, so you could describe them as super-beings in that sense.  ;)  But your current crop of lodgers will be packing their bags before you know it  ;)

T, I'm now never going to be able to read your posts again without the Great Escape tune popping into my head.

Glad you are in the better ward again. Please do complain. It's not fair that they can get away with treating people like this. What if it had been an emergency instead of a toilet visit? Someone could have died from their neglect. (Not that they should only come for life or death emergencies mind you.)

Well latest is I am to be referred to a Dermatologist as this Pseudomas whatjamecallit has taken a liking to my body, and attacking my skin and nails which doctor says can happen after masses of antibiotics, I feel I am being invaded by some super being, guess I better not start thread asking opinions on this
You know when you draw something and are unhappy with it you use a rubber and start again, sometimes I wish I could do that with this useless excuse of a body, no idea how long I will be here as no one knows

Now Auntie T glad you have found a wad better to your liking - I now have a mental Pic of Asbo Aunty T on the front page of the paper being chased by the Poo lady and several security guards

On the feral front they are the best friends to have around so don't be thinking you have any form of escape or we will need to hijack you to the Clan Compound - we have very strict rules on which ferals are allowed out to play!

T just keep on plugging away at that infection same as you have done for all the little souls who have come to you in a state you have nursed them back to health and wonderful families now its your turn to take some nursing and then be allowed home to be the new granny in September and be Asbo Granny to your 3 Grandsons

look on it as  being raised to the status of village elder, T

your role is to sit in the sun and dispense wisdom and advice to the toilers beneath you

Thought I must have B.O.

modified to say just realised I cannot access emails from hospital

You could create a gmail account, will take 30 seconds and then you will be able to access that account from any computer. You could also set it up to divert any emails intended for the AOL email address so you get them on the gmail account aswell.  I'd be happy to set it up for you if you wanted one

Have you got any idea how long you'l have to stay in this time round?

Another reason to get out of there quick (as if you needed one)

And if your heart and brain still wants to save the world Teresa then I'm sure you'll find a way.  It may not be the way you're used to, but find it you will.  My mum went through a similar low period when she was confined to a wheelchair after years of actively helping anyone and everyone.  People used to visit to 'cheer her up' but in truth she cheered them up and I wish she was here now because I'm at a very tricky point in my sewing and she could show me what to do.  :)
