Firstly I want to thank everyone for their prayers and wishes and for making me feel so much better for having such wonderful friends who I am grateful for regardless of religion or creed.

Sorry not been on had a rough couple of days. The ward has now been reopened after the bug which fortunately avoided me and my consultant came to see me today with the news that I am far too ill to be discharged and will be here for the entire Christmas holiday, though I have struck a deal for a 4hour pass on Christmas Day providing staff feel I am well enough so all being well I will have dinner with family and give grandchildren their presents before returning to my hospital bed for tea and IV antibiotics, so Christmas wont be an entire disaster.
Been having trouble with standing up without going faint and finally they have discovered that my already low blood pressure plummets even lower when I stand so consultant giving me stockings for Christmas white elastic ones,bet your all jealous

I will even have to wear them in bed

On medicine side of things IV antibiotics been extended and increased, nebulised antibiotics been changed for a stronger one, pill wise think I rattle

but I am trying to remain cheerful, you never know this hospital could become my permanent address

I don't think it matters what religion we are, we're all praying towards a common goal, which is Terasa's good health, so I can't think anyone would take offence, whether they are believers or not

I agree, Pook. I find no offence in the posts by Wiccans, Christians or any other faith as long as they're positive. And I'm fairly certain Teresa is Christian; I've asked my Mum to pray for her as she is also of that faith. I think any vibes people have will be much appreciated by her.

Glad the TB test came back negative, fingers crossed the bug is sorted out soon and they release patients, although at the moment think you are better in there than facing this nasty weather
