Sending mega, mega positive vibes for this to be nothing serious. I can well understand your reluctance to call the Doctor T but PLEASE do. If it is a recurrence of the pneumonia then delaying things can only make matters worse.

is there no way you can have an iv line while at home? my dad used to have a line and a district nurse came in to keep an eye on it (not for the same thing admittedly) - shop on line T, its cold out there

Teresa. Sending you a big soothing hug. I know it won't take the infection away, but can sense how miserable this is making you feel, and a hug sometimes helps with that.

Not having a good day, not even bothering to get dressed, infection is back already so totally fed up, at this stage it may be a bronchiatasis pocket emptying itself of infection rather than the pneumonia so not calling doctor yet, specialist did warn that they will have a job keeping me well enough to stay out of hospital, just 56 hours since last intravenous antibiotic so about the same length of time before things went wrong as last time. Must think positive this is just going to be a little Blip, I still havent bought a Christmas card or anything towards Christmas yet and I so desperately need to go to Toys R Us with grandchildren to have some real fun.

Rob took me to supermarket in wheelchair this morning but I found it too much and came home pronto and so very busy lying down on settee resting, think in truth I am terrified that I will get to day 3 and go down again so I am being careful.
Gave Minimopsical a huge fuss this morning and bless her she purred her little head off she was so happy to see me, managed to sit on back door step for a minute and Milly (feral) came and allowed me to stroke her just 6 times before sticking her nose in the air and walking off with a now I will leave you and see how you like it look, at least she remembers me, still not able to walk to cat pens but its early days.

They kept me in yesterday, but good news is I was finally released from ~~prison~~ hospital at 7pm this evening. Thrilled to be home again but will admit to finding it scarey. Taking it easy tonight and will see how things are in morning.
