Sounds like she might be if she is trying to get out of bed and hope she didnt hurt herself in the fall

Hi all,

Been to the hospital tonight to see my mum, and i have to say allthough she is very ill it would appear there was a slight improvement tonight..

The hospital have changed the antibiotics she was on for the pneumonia and are now adminestering 2 different types of antibiotics that seem to be having some sort of effect but its early days yet and they say they will know more in the next couple of days as to wether they are working on her.
My mum was able to speak a little bit tonight even tho she is still having the oxygen non stop and they have in her own words put her in a jail bed to stop her escaping as she fell out of bed last night and got herself into a bit of a mess with the tubes coming out and blood everywhere from the canulars in her arms coming out, but at least now she has a nice new electric bed she can operate with the touch of a switch so she is feeling more comfortable now.
she may even be be well enough to make an update herself on here tomorrow night on her laptop if she is well enough for it...

She still has a long way to go with beating the pnuemonia and i thank you for all your prayers last night as i think that combined with my mums fighting spirit is keeping her going even tho she is very scared of what could happen...

i must get off now and get ready for work and will hopefully get another update to you all tomorrow...

I hope you're managing to get some sleep Teresa - its the best way I know of regaining strength and comes highly recommended by the feline population so it must be good.
