Doctor has just been round, he is 2nd in command with a lovely bedside manner, first results show it is same pneumonia as before and negative on TB so if they sort out this bug on rest of ward there is hope for a Christmas escape. Anyway Doctor Night in shining armour has just given Nurse Cruella Hisspit a good telling off and told her shutting me alone in a room and making everyone wear masks to enter was not on, he told her if she had bothered to read things correctly my problem has been Atypical tb rather than TB a huge difference, so I am innocent unless positive test results come back. Anyway she was last seen beating a hasty retreat mutterng sorry, heaven help me later on

My cousin is actually a nurse and is working Christmas Eve. She's an utter sweetheart and I know she'll go out of her way to make things a bit nicer for the patients. (One of the reasons she's one of my best friends as well as my cousin; heart of gold!)

most people stuck in hospital over Christmas ctually have quite a good time, as the staff always try to make a special effort

so the reality may well not be so bad as the thought of it, T - and at least in hospital there is no chance of you wearing yourself out doing to much - as you know very well you would have done

you can sit and chat via the net to those like me who will be on their own

I know you must be gutted to have to stay in over Christmas but it really is the best place for you. You can have a second celebration when you go home for good - a special Teresa-mas

Dont know about being in good spirits, just had long chat with doctor who has explained that I have a right upper lobe pneumonia and they are also testing for TB which could be time consuming, he said even if I was pronounced fit I cant go home as the ward is closed because of diarhoea bug and no one can go home.
So its looking like Christmas wont happen.
One good thing is nice doc let me talk him into removing the drip, evil nurse Cruella Hisspit said I had to keep it but alarm was beeping all the time driving me mad, I unplugged it but it had battery back up, evil nurse found out and gave me good talking to and plugged it back in but guess what I did

wonder what she`ll try next.
Sitting in chair by window overlooking car park and was thinking about having a lie down but my poor bed is unmade. In fairness to the nurses theres been a few deaths this morning so I`ll forgive them being so overworked all apart from Cruella Hisspit.

Isolation hmmmmmmmmmm I dont know if that sounds good or bad but the service needs to be better and Christine has the right idea about getting your staff to home some cats
