I think you should ring them back and ask again Teresa, you are a priority and you need to make them aware of that - you're not ringing because you've got a common cold

made a decision not to bother with doctors, hospitals anymore ,after all what good are they.

They save people's lives, including yours Teresa, as you know when you are thinking straight.

Sue no idea what the system is called but it sucks; only reason I wanted an appointment was to save them coming out , made a decision not to bother with doctors, hospitals anymore ,after all what good are they.

They should have places for emergencies and am sure you fall into that category Teresa.....you dont ask for an appointment you demand one and if they wont let you come to them you tell them to come to you......so do not be shy, insist!

I know you always leave it till its really needed so get them out

Teresa, is it what they call a "1 in 5" system?  If so, could you explain to them that you will need a normal appointment , as soon as possible?  Our Doc's surgery operates that system, but if you explain it isn't a "1 in 5" kind of problem you can still get a standard appointment, often on the same day.  (Not always with a Doctor of your choice, admittedly!)  Is it worth checking again?

definately T, this system really irriates me our doctor has it as well - its useless for people with ongoing medical conditions - by 8.30 you are at work and then they'll offer you an 8.35

Ordered my mum a slanket last week - arrived yesterday and I took it over to her - as soon as it was on she was warm as toast within 5 minutes - she loves it.

I got a bargain too - 2 for the price of 1 and a free reading lamp ( very small I must admit but ok).

Here's the link.

I ended up ordering 2 for the price of one and getting a reading lamp free.

Might get dressed today, had 3 pyjama and magic slipper days , daughter bought me a strange blanket with sleeves in and starting to get too warm and comfortable; I need to be able to find some strength and puff, so much needing to be done and heres me as useful as a choco late teapot.
