Morning treasure.  Snoozles to you from me and Paddy
;)

Morning Teresa. I'd send snoozles from Darwin too, being as he's likened to a cat with "essence of Padster" but he's still at the running around headbutting you stage.....  :-:

Hope you're feeling greatly improved and those doctors are taking care of you. (Also hope you've got a supply of dolly mixture. ;))

Oh no, poor Teresa. She must feel like she's attached to a bungee cord with that hospital. :tired: Thanks for letting her "Purrs family" know, Rob.

Teresa, I completely understand what you're saying, but agree that many people on here find you to be an inspirational lady. (I definitely include myself in that statement.) I hope you feel better very soon and am sending extra "zoo" vibes from us here to help.

Oh Rob, am gutted to hear that, although not surprised, and we know your Mum was feeling very low in spirits too.

It must be wearing for you to hear this from us so often, but we hold your Mum in such high regard - we love her in our own crazy cat people way, and therefore please pass on our love and our hugs for her (as you always so kindly do for us).

Thinking of you all, and hoping Teresa will fight this one all the way.

Hi all,

Just to let you know my mum has been taken back to hospital this morning in ambulance after visiting the doctors as she is very unwell again with Phuemonia...
Apparantly the doctor called for the ambulance straight away and i would imagine she will be in hospital for at least 10 days depending on how the medication works on my mum...

Unfortunatly i dont have any more news than that at the moment as ive only just got home from work and im just relaying the message from my dad...

As soon as i have some news i will try my best to get it posted up on here...

Rob Jnr...

made a decision not to bother with doctors, hospitals anymore ,after all what good are they.

They save people's lives, including yours Teresa, as you know when you are thinking straight.

I am thinking very straight and over the years I have fought for every life that has quality: I have not lost my marbles, I am not depressed, just lost any quality.

Your just as important as everyone else remember that.....

Meant to be caring but sounds harsh....Me sorry but you do worry me sometimes!  :innocent: ;)

I hope you get the appointment Teresa, our doctors are pretty good for appointments and if you really need to see a GP for your condition then I'm sure knowing your background if you push they will fit you in.  I've never you met you T and I could be wrong but how you come across to me is as a very strong and positive lady - I would think your illness must get you down as I know too well when I have been ill for a long time this inevitably happens so it's bound to get you down - but, wouldn't say depressed.  You have a strong supportive network on Purrs and I'm sure that helps a great deal and to have a good moan etc, I understand where you're coming from

It amazes me that doctors don't have some sort of system that flags up as a priority people with chronic conditions that can turn acute at the drop of a hat, with very serious consequences.  All this talk about the NHS being patient-lead is just bunkum.  The target driven, tick-box culture that was supposed to improve things has succeeded only in driving common sense out of the window.  You still have to fight for an appointment, probably more so than before, and the sicker you are the harder it is to fight so the longer you have to wait.  >:(

I know how disheartening this must be Teresa but don't give up on the system - like it or not you need it.  Is there nobody can ring the doctors and give them what for on your behalf?    I'll happily do it for you.
