Ruth I just gave you a ticking of on A team thread cos you are so precious

Now I am not brave, you all need to know I am stupid , when I was looking after Lancelot and a few others I knew I was seriously ill but my pig headed stupidity told me to keep going, little voice in my head saying  go on T you can still save the world, put mind over matter and you will cope, same little voice told me that no one on earth could care for these babies as well as Aunty T, now look what a mess I`m in and those babies are being cared for without me.

Brave no but I guess I am this badly disabled because I need to learn humility.

I'll settle for the alive, and treat the bravery and cheerfulness as an occasional bonus

Another porridge fan here - proper old fashioned oats for me with a dash of salt.

Or try a sprinkle of cinammon with sugar or honey if you prefer a sweet option  ;)

Wish I could donate a few stone to you - we'd both be sorted then  :evillaugh:

My nan always made porridge (and we all make it this way too) with salt and a dash of olive oil. You never taste these two individually but it does bring out the flavours of anything you add to it, be it maple syrup, honey, sugar, jam or even fruits and nuts.  I made some this morning for breakfast and it was yummy.  Added a bit of quince paste as my sweetner.

Teresa, 7 stone heh. Well, that's a good milestone and 8 will of course be ideal! Though maybe a few more bowls of porridge heh...now you have Christine and I both haggling after you  ;)

My mum always added salt and then sugar or syrup when cooked - I like a bit of both too  :)

sweet stuff won't harm T if you like them when you're trying to pack calories in, eating is main thing
