ok, I went. But I didn't get on here to see that you were meeting in Wetherspoons and tbh I couldn't have walked that far from the main hall as by 1pm I was knackered, weighed down with bags and limping
Gutted to have missed Pearl and Witty but I didnt' realise they were there this year as I didnt' recall her mentioning it on here. I spent less time wandering around looking at the cats this time and took it all fairly easy. Consequently, I enjoyed myself more than expected as I had lower expectations. It's not the same without my friend as, although she doesnt' have cats, we have a great time looking at the cats, looking them up in the catalogue, predicting what sort of cat will win, having a giggle at some of the cats etc. Plus I have someone to carry my shopping!
Sandphlangham - were you at the Somali talk? I think I saw you there. Got a feeling I saw wibblechick too at some point. I did look out for Purrs badges but didnt' see anyone wearing one
I bought loads of stuff - mainly food. 48 cans almo nature, 16 cartons bozita, some schessir food, some Orijen dry plus a few toys. Mosi had the time of his life last night when I got home with one of the toys - a feather and some scrunched paper on the end of a stick. I also managed to get Mosi a new cat cube to replace his totally wrecked one. I've been meaning to get one from Purrs for ages but have problems with post, esp when it wont' go through letterbox, so took the opportunity to get one when I saw them. Jaffa got a new catnip toy and was totally nipped out last night! And as for all the bags.....
I had a really good chat with a Somali breeder I know (bred Mosi's mum and I found Mosi through her) and watched some of the Somali judging. The breeder has kittens at the moment..........
(Dont' worry Jaffa, meowmy wouldn't bring another kitten home!). All in all I had a good day although it would have been nice to meet Purrs peeps (but I would have refused outright to be in any photos!!)
