Best food?

I use Royal Canin and Applaws dry foods  and mainly Applaws, PAH Purely 50% fish and Natures Menu as wet foods. Boiled white fish always goes down well too!

majority of the economical biscuit brands (typically with cereals as main ingredients), also many of the fancy looking wet food brands like shiba, fancy feast etc., add flavourings and extra fat in order to make the food more appealing to the cats, while their nutritional quality is subpar.  It's like a junkfood, okay occasionally, but not ideal for a regular diet. I would stay clear of them not to get the cats too attached to them.
Oliver turns his nose up at very delicious looking (even to me!!) almo nature main series but he does love their bio patè (tuna-sardines, tuna-chicken, tuna mackerel), which became his staple.  I wish there were more variety in flavours I am worried he may get bored and goes off of it after a while!!

I use Royal Canin or TechniCal for dry food and I cant get my lot off Whiskas or Classic for wet food,  I have tired all sorts but they will only eat those two.  Ripley who is 5 months has Royal Canin Kitten biscuits and Whiskas Kitten Pouches (in Jelly)

Royal Canin is a good choice if she'll eat it, as the company does a full range of specialist food as well as lifestyle ones, which can be useful further down the line

I would start her with whats she is used to, wet and dry is the best, rather than just dry and you will often find that you can buy ordinary food from the shops much cheaper than from the vets.

Once you have her eating make sure any attemped change is done very gradually but she will let you know if she doesnt like the food LOL........all our home supermarkets are evidence to this

You will find that puss will maybe only eat what he/she wants to eat! 

Id find out what kitty has been eating already....a mix of wet and dry food is best, dont be tempted to give cows milk as they usually get the runs from their lactose intolerance of it! 

Will of course find out what she is on at the moment, just thought it might be better to change her over to something good (if shes not on good stuff already), though you are probably right and she will choose to eat what she wants!, I had a bun here once that would only eat the cheap horrible mix food!

Mine soon made it clear what food they would and wouldn't eat.  Felix ended up being the favourite (and James Wellbeloved biscuits).  Anything else was treated with contempt and refusal to eat.

Hi me again, sorry for all the questions but what is the best food for a 13 week old kitten? My vet sels the Royal Canin and i was going to buy this does anyone else use it? Thanks
