Love the story too and Tilly Cat was just stunning and agree that her paws helped you find Meg, who looks wonderful  ;D

Oh sorry  :welcome: to Purrs  ;D

I think Meg may be a distant relative of a boy on Purrs called Riley  ;D ;D

Megmog and I say hi... long thread!

Been lurking for a while now so fell I ought to say hi.

I was brought up in a dog loving family but always adored cats and always took time to say hello to any feline who crossed my path.

Hubby and I have bought horses and have rehomed two older rescue dogs (plus numerous rodents all now gone) over the years but never a cat.

That was until  a heartfelt plea about Tilly-Cat tugged my heaartstrings on a horse forum.

Her owner was emigrating and needed a home for her- T-C who was getting on on in years and wanted to be a house cat. I drove down from Bansley to Donnington services to take her in. I never looked back she settled in and adored life viewing the outside world as too big and too primitive.

Sadly T-C had to be PTS (old age simple as that) after 4 happy years and we were gutted.

My tough hubby promised her we would rehome another cat as she had been so brilliant as she lay on the vets table...

After 2 catless months we looked at the place we rehomed our dogs and saw this cat- Laura.

I liked her and kept looking at the photo but did not call.

On our 15th wedding anniversary we went to look....

Two older cats took our eye and some adorable kittens (but all rehomed). We had avoided looking at Laura until last. It turned out she was the mother of the kittens. She was so sweet and playful she got us hooked. We went to Sainsbury's to talk it over. The only thing was she was unspeyed- so I called our vet to ask about speying s recent mother. In our area the CPS were doing free spreying that month and she was Ok to have it done. Needless to say we went back and Laura came home with us. The update five months on she is now now called Meg and is sitting on my knee as I type!

A phenomenal cat.... no cat could be better.

Other piccies...

Sorry- I go on about my cat....
Our best anniversary present yet! The rehoming of Megmog!
