This feed has been a little easier than last time when he was literally screaming at me and fighting me every step of the way, still syringe feeding him but no screams this time and managed to get enough into him; think part of the problem is me being so weak and allowing myself to get so heartbroken over him, his brothers are lapping huge amounts and gaining weight but Lovealot is still the same weight as he was a week ago 317 grams maybe I should stop comparing I dont know, but on Friday Lancelot had gained over 50grams and Noshalot had gained 95grams must admit it was only Lovealot who passed such copius amounts of blood. Is it any wonder that I am obsessed with poop, by the way finally all 3 are passing solid lumps. Its just so hard to keep going sometimes, but at least I am a little more hopefully than last feed.

Just finished another round of feeding and getting food into Lovealot is becoming more difficult, will see how he is later this afternoon but somehow i think it will be another vet call out, i have had a gut feeling all week that he is not going to pull through, I am hoping its me being paranoid due to overtiredness.

Noshalot is quite a fatty he often falls asleep licking an empty food bowl.

Glad that they are soldiering on under your care

Not a great deal of change overnight apart from 2 big solid poops in litter tray  :yayyy: , this is the most terrible parasite for kittens to contend with without having to fight cat flu as well; Lovealot is still proving difficult to feed but we are getting enough into him, Lancelots eye is still awful but both he and Noshalot are eating well and doing well, in fact Noshalot is quite a fatty he often falls asleep licking an empty food bowl.

Claire here - acting as PA to Mrs Paws Inn today.  Been to vets this morning with the Sir Alots as we have been very worried about Lovealot, typical kitten behaviour and all three of them must have enjoyed the car ride as they were up and about playing like proper little kittens when we arrived.  I think Kay the vet thought Teresa and I were on something!! Anyway, to be cautious he has had a vit b injection and some subq fluids in his tum and the vet has told T to keep on with the care she is giving.  Other two were checked over and while still very ill they are doing ok.  These little ones have a long way to go, but a little bit of brightness today.  To add to the joy today, Teresa nearly snogged a poo.....yes you read that right!  Lovealot did the most amazing semi firm poo after his lunch today.....she was so thrilled that she wanted to kiss it and bring it in to show me as I was feeding Garcia, but because of isolation I missed out (hooray!!  ;)) You nearly had a photo of the poo on the forum, but it has now been destroyed!!

Yes....we are all mad at the Inn today - Teresa's lack of sleep is rubbing off on me!!!!

Lovealot is very poorly still, we considered an out of hours vet at 10.30 last night but somehow he made it through the night and is slightly brighter this morning though had to feed him .

Do you have any 'before' pics?  ;)

These little ones have popped up on various threads on forum so thought I had better introduce them properly.
They arrived at the Inn on Saturday night, very poorly with Cat Flu and a very nasty tummy parasite, we are waiting for results of faeces samples but have a good idea what the parasite is so are treating with appropriate medication; poor Sir Lovelot was affected the worst by the parasite and yesterday was passing more blood than poop, thankfully no blood yet today.
Sir Lancelot has a horrendous eye which is being treated 4 hourly day and night, Sir Noshalot was the tiniest and seems to be doing well, he really loves his grub. Thankfully all are lapping and swimming in food now. Took these pics after bathing and blow drying them earlier.
