These will be my last few days with the boys before they go off to other fosterers. Milo went on Friday, Dougal will go on Tuesday or Wednesday and Bond on Thursday
I tried very hard to rehome them before I left and a couple of people were lined up to come see them but the general public being as they are, they didn't turn up.
I am going to miss these two, they have been little rays of sunshine for me and have brought me so much joy and satisfaction. Watching them turn from the nervous scaredy cats they were to the confident, cuddly, purry, demanding little furballs they are now has been so very very rewarding. I recommend it to anyone.
I think Dougal will leave the biggest mark, if I could take him with me I would. It took a lot of time, patience and perseverance with him and to see him now, head butting me in the face, popping up on the sofa like a meerkat, jumping on the work top to sniff his dinner, flopping down against me on the sofa, walking up my chest in the morning, walking over my laptop for attention, just makes me burst with pride and giggles.
Bye bye my boys, your forever homes will be along soon and they will be wonderful.
This was taken this afternoon.
