Spoke to the vets this morning and hes told me to keep bathing them and apply a little bit of vaseline to help healing as they are already scabbed over, she is a little better this morning not quite so stressed , thanks to all for advice

When Ollie had a large sore on his neck which would not clear up, the vet gave me a bottle of Cothivet. This is a spray containing oils of lavender, rosemary and other herbs and it is intended to dry up sores so they form a scab. It worked on Ollie and, he didn't seem to mind smelling like a garden!

There is a product called Otodex skin cream - vetuk should sell it. It's good for sore spots, minor burns, grazes, eczema etc.

I wouldnt use anything with an active ingredient unless vet gives it, vaseline is a basic base but she may lick them more if you put something on especially creams that are oil based and dont soak in very quickly.

I once read somewhere that Savlon is safe on cats (not too sure as never used it myself) Im sure that Sudacream (sp) is okay

Does anyone know of a cream i can use on Mika please , the sores where she has been overgrooming have now started to dry up, i keep bathing them but they have gone very tight and i m not sure what i can use to soften them and help the healing process
