Glad you've found us, I'm sure you'll enjoy it here.  It really is a very friendly forum with lots of friendly helpful advice, if ever needed, and of course lots of fun.

I do feel it my public duty to warn you though that it can be a teensy bit addictive  You have been warned  :evillaugh:

Millie is gorgeous  :Luv: Sounds like she's fallen on her feet finding you  :)

:welcome: to Purrs Lindsey.  I couldn't have left her behind either  :Luv: :Luv: :Luv:

Very beautiful little girl and excellent choice of name (err we got a Millie too  ;) )  You may want to invest in a cat tree/scratching post to try and save your furniture from the worst of Millie's attention  :)

 :thanks:

I fell in love with her right away! Even when she is scaling my sideboard and tearing up kitchen roll lol! I must have a look around other areas to see about trying to discourage her from the sideboard!!

I'm looking forward to spending time here and getting to know everyone!

Hi all!

My name is Lindsey and I recently rescued a little 8 week old kitten. Her name is Millie! She is so lovely! I work in a children's home and one of our young people had gone to the shop and found Millie sitting on the roadside so she lifted her up and set her on the grass. Millie followed her the whole way back to the house. I took her that evening and left her down to the local vets and agreed that if anyone called for her that they would ring me, but if not I would go and collect her the next day and leave her to the local animal sanctuary. 10 mins after I left her I just decided there and then that I had to take her home. She is a long haired tortie and she is just amazing. She has had her first injections and is becoming more and more playful as everyday goes past.

I am looking forward to sharing stories with you all and hoping to ask your advice when I hit difficulties with her! Thanks in advance! Glad to be here!
