I missed a mail from my OH at work so I called him during break. Fynn was a lot better. When I got home, I phoned the vet, but now he was rather quiet again.
I'm still very careful in my happiness. He will have to stay there anyway because he needs constant attention which we cannot provide tomorrow.
Thx already for the positive vibes!!

I cried so much last night, I went to bed crying.
I would so much like to stay at home this morning, I dread a possible call from the vet.
As I work in a call center, we are not allowed mobile on our desk, but my vet would leave a message. So I hope to get some positive news when I have my break.
I could call in sick but I had a sale yesterday that I still have to register.

If he has enteritis you need to keep him away from the others, fingers crossed its some other bug in his tummy

must be realistic, it's probably Elliot that got this into my home and Elliot had some immunity.
Can't take this

no, he's not vacc yet, he's too young. He's 8 weeks now.
His temp went up again  :(

I just gave him metacam, if he's not better in an hour, he goes on a drip at vet's.
I don't want to lose him, after such a short period I do love him deeply already

http://maxshouse.com/feline_panleukopenia.htm

I'm sure now he has that  :'(

Paneleukopenia is Feline Enteritis which they get vaccinated against at 9 wks or so, I imagine he has been vaccinated against enteritis (panleu) though? At least his fever's come down.

Great news that his temp has started to drop! Keep up the good word WL!  :Luv:

Just had a quick look at your link and it said about the parvovirus.... Dogs get that and I had heard that it came from cats!

Very medical indeed!

Do you think it may be the same as what little Elliot had? Just wondering if something nasty could of been laying dormant around the home?  ;)

It could be. Strange thing is that Dorian was healthy and eating when he came here and got ill the second week, same goes for Elliot. Now Elliot coming from a shelter, I can understand and maybe that's the reason Fynn got it from him. Elliot must have outgrown it but staying bearer I suppose.
Damn, Fynn was such a round baby last week, and he went down now by at least 150g.

Just got home from work, couldn't stop thinking about him.
Forced some ORS down him, will continue the rest of the day. Not going anywhere I guess, want to stay with him. Also forced a little bit of food down him, about the amount that keeps an ant going...

He might need some fluids, if they are a bit dehydrated it will stop them eating, so I would definitely speak to the vets. Fingers crossed for him
