It still isnt healed but the slit isnt as long, it hasnt bothered her for a while, its amazing how tough they are. When i get an ulcer i feel like the world has ended lol

I hate looking at it  :sick: theres less swelling but is still split, i had hoped for quicker sealing up as human tongues close holes in hours. Luckily its on the side of her tongue not in the middle so she can still eat, phew!

Ouch! hope that her poorly tongue heals quickly -  inside the mouth is one of the fastest to heal so hopefully it won't take long  :hug:

Lola was doing really well, no vet trip for 2 weeks  :wow: when she came home with blood on her leg. Quickly tracked down its source - her tongue.
Off to vets we go and get some antibiotics, i feel a bad mummy tho as she cant have any pain relief due to being on steroids  :(
Shes so hungry all the time she must have been in someones rubbish as my family are moaned at properly trained to deal with used tins and knives and it definately looks like a slice from a sharp edge  :scared:
