Mooornin!

Another good evening yesterday in the Poothouse!

He's turning into a complete cuddle monster

Before he was quite reticent about getting up onto the furniture, you had to pretty much lift him onto the sofa, but he wouldn't really stay for long, would be off exploring again

Yesterday he jumped up on his own while I was having a bath (J was in the room but on the computer), and stayed there to have a snooze! That' the first time he's taken a snooze in the open, and not gone under the bed where its quiet, so thats real progress. I went and sat next to him, and he turned round, gave me a headbut on the chin, licked me, then settled back down facing me with his paws resting on my legs

Lets just say dinner was very late last night as I didn't want to move him

He is just such a babe, and is growing more confident by the day, he must have slept outside bedroom last night as he started chirruping when he heard the alarm go off at 7!!!

Wees and poos in the tray again this morning, so think that was just a minor settling in glitch on the first day

He is such a cutie, he's following me around everywhere at the moment, which is just so cute

He's getting so much more inqusitive now as well, stands on his back legs to look in the loo, the bath etc, and makes these little chirrupy noises at the same time.

Still headbutting with gusto, and licking has taken on a new force, my whole face got a washing yesterday, with a very rough tonge lol, I won't need to exfoliate for at least a week

I really didn't want to come to work today, but I did get up mega early to spend some time with him before I left. J will be around this afternoon so he won't be on his own all day, and I'll try and pop back at lunchtime too if I get the chance.

He's such a fab little boy, but he does the biggest poos I've ever seen for a small cat

Although he looks really skinny, he is still quite solid, if that makes sense! He is just really long, and has massively long legs

He found the tray for wees and poos last night which is fab! Just want to try and coax him downstairs with the tray now, so will be doing that over the next day or so, then hopefullly think about switching litters too as the wood stuff just tracks everywhere

He came up on the bed this morning for a cuddle, then settled at the bottom for a few minutes, before getting excited and going off to explore again! He's definitely getting more confident as the hours go on, he is such a little babe and I've already fallen head over heels for this little darling

With ref to putting weight on him you may find it difficult at the mo, I mentioned that leggie stage that my Oscar is in, well he eats like a horse and still looks the same!

As long as they a fit though thats all that matters!

Well there's nothing wrong with this little man's appetite!!! He hoovers a whole pouch of Whiskas down in one go, I'm not sure how many to feed him at the mo, probably 2-3 a day I would think as he needs building up a bit, but I'm conscious that I don't want him to balloon!!

Still no tray action so far, but he did have a root around in there earlier, so he does know where it is now at least.

We've had lots of cuddles on the floor, and lots more headbutts too

He kneads a lot too, my legs are very pinpricked today, so my tennis skirt could look interesting tomorrow

He really is a lovely boy, he's very quiet and shy, but does know how to play, albeit in short doses. He was chasing the feather on a stick earlier, but when he caught it he ran away to hide, only to come out and do it again

He also doesn't seem to like it on the bed, so whether he wasn't allowed in the bedroom in his last home I'm not sure, we know nothing about his history whatsoever!

Gonna go play some more now I think, and give him a bit of lunch if he's hungry

Aww bless him, must be a bit of an upheaval, pain in the proverbial for you though, nothing worse than having to go looking for wees and poos every day!

He is absolutely gorgeous though, who could be mad at a face like that!
