Craig and I were on our way back from my parents in North Wales today when we thought we'd take a detour to Primark in Wrexham. (I love a bargain) Anyway, while we were there we went for a wander to the ASDA living store (as I say, I really do love a bargain) whilst crossing the car park we spotted a tiny ball of fur. On closer inspection we found it to be a tiny, malnourished kitten. He (I'm guessing there) must have been a few weeks old, he was so tiny. The poor little thing was shivering and you could see his spine through his fur, which was all matted. We tried to call the local CP to see if they could take the little tyke in, but they just tried to pass us on to the RSPCA. I wasn't ringing them after hearing some of the things on here. Thankfully I can get the net on my phone so googled another couple of local rescues. A few of phones calls later and someone was able to come and pick up straight away. In the meantime we managed to get him into a box, as a lady who lived nearby stopped to help. He also had a bit of tuna which seemed to perk him up a bit.
We'd have taken him home ourselves, but we are off on holiday first thing tomorrow, which is why'd we'd been at my parents in the first place. Tachi and Vader are on their hols too you see! I do hope he's ok. I might give the rescue a ring when we get back to see how he is. I can't stop thinking about him and his gorgeous little eyes now.
Edit: This is where we called in the end.
