I am so very sorry to hear this Pav, but you gave him a wonderful life, you refused to give up on him like so many others had, and you fought to beat the vets expectations with his lymphoma and then let him go with dignity when something else came along that you couldnt beat, and for that he was such a lucky boy. RIP little one.

I'm thinking of you, sweetie.

Having suffered so much at the hands of others in his previous life, rehomed time and again because a swipe from his paw meant he was mean, when Boy found his way to Pav he knew his forever days would be happy ones. Slowly but surely Boy became a new cat, and turned into the biggest purrpot this side of the planet. Always full of love and joy, never an angry swipe, never a growl, Boy just was.. Boy. Chilled, happy at home, and so in love with his Mum.

I remember when I first met Boy so many years ago, I spent many a morning or afternoon encountering an aggressive, long-haired, gorgeous black cat who sat on his doorstep, watching the neighbours coming and going. For the pleasure of having to walk past his front door to get to mine (clearly I was being rude by doing that!

) I'd get paid with a few swipes at my legs. Pav, if she was at the door, would look at me, smile and pretend to tell him off

. I think it was those moment Boy ruled the roost and he knew it. We all loved him, especially when he made Smudge feel so at home after spending 6 months in quarantine and then our Pippa, who wasn't too sure of this big, chilled out cat. What a cool dude

I'll miss you sweet angel not least because you gave your Mum so many smiles and made her happy for so long. She would do anything for you, and often did - Boy, so innocent and sweet. RIP sweet angel boy. Forever loved.
