Pav, I am so sorry to read this, I am in tears for you, it is so hard to lose our babies, but when you lose two so close together it is so much harder, especially when her recent tests weren't so bad. I have had similar comments to you about not getting oldies cos of the pain, but it is offset by the knowledge that they were in a home environment with one on one and people who loved them, rather than sat in a rescue, and some of our cats wouldnt' have had nearly as long if we hadn't taken them - the people who say things like that just dont understand the selflessness of taking these cats in over a young, healthy cat but we are the lucky ones, we get to share our lives with these wonderful cats, for however long. RIP Phoebe, you had a fantastic mum who gave you everything she possibly could

If you want to talk, you have my number xx
Please spay your cat

Pav, I'm so sorry, it's a lot of heartache to cope with losing two friends within such a short space of time. :'(  I truly believe their spirits will live on though, and remain close to you forever - happy that they finally experienced such love and kindness during their time with you.  And you do have family you know - the Purrs family :grouphug:

Good Night Phoebe
God Bless

Pav , i am so unbelievably sorry about Phoebe ( her and Boy were always included when i ask my bridge babies to send healing vibes down for all the poorly kitties down here ) so soon after Boy too .
The thing is you let them go with dignity and they didn''t suffer - and thats the kindest last thing you can do for them.
Its the worst feeling in the world and the hardest thing to ever to learn to live without them .
I personally have suffered more from losing my cats than any member of my family .
Reading all this thread has set me off too now - my eyes are watering for all the bridge babies .

:RIP:  Phoebe -reunited with Boy and all the bridge babies to play with till your mummy comes for you .

That made me cry and you are so kind.

You are right, its about helping a cat who has no one and you have helped many

I remember when Kocka went to the Bridge and all her things were everywhere and I didnt want to move them. I still have everything in a box upstairs, not brave enough to look at them but I still have her in my heart as I am sure you do with all of yours.

It takes loads of time to get over something like this and I am pleased that your vet was kind and understanding and that Phoebe passed over quietly and calmly, I think its sign of a good vet

Thankyou    I know most of us been there and know of the pain, it never get easier.I asked the vet if he puts her under fluid all night she may feel better but he said they dont have 24 hours facility and she may need oxigen and i could take her to vet24 and they monitor her there, but Phoebe was scared of strangers and i thought the stress of taking her there, also the vet tonight was her own vet he knew how to handle her i didnt want my baby to be scared. After taking the X-rays he brought her back upstairs and she just sat in a corner stearing at the wall thats what she is been doing at home and then the vet said to me this is no life , he said he thinks she is trying to die and he said she is really sick i asked him 2 days ago all the results were ok but he said he thinks its some thing in her brain causing the twitching and its too many things wrong with her, i asked him if she is in pain and he said she has no life in her whats is the point of keeping her like this, he was really nice and understanding he said if it was his pet he would let her go, i didnt want to loose her she was my baby, i dont have any family and when i lost DD i called some friends but they all said the same thing that i lost so many cats whats speciall about this one or they said get a younger cat next time so you dont have to go through this :( They dont understand its not about me its about helping a cat which no one else wanted and thats what i kept telling my self in the surgury that its not about you, you have to let her go , may be i could keep her going few more weeks but i know its selfish. I got her so many new blankets and bed on Sunday in Mayhew opening day she never got to use them, and every where i look its her things.
Thanks Baggy for reassuring me, i just didnt want her to get sick or suffer when she was passing away, and thankyou every one for listening to me i am sorry if i dont make sense i cant see , have to keep wiping my glasses, she looked so beautiful after she was PTS, the vet helped me to clean her face and said she is gone with dignity :'( :'( :'( I am going to log off now and go upstairs and clean everything all her food and water is on my bed and then i am going to sit outside the foxes will come soon.
Thanks Janey and Gillian for your numbers but i cant talk right now, but thankyou. Maybe one day soon.

Golden Memories
They say memories are golden, well, maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories, I only wanted you.
A million times I cried.

If love alone could have saved you, you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly, in death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place no one else could fill.
If tears could build a stairway and heartache make a lane.
I'd walk the path to Heaven and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us back one by one, the chain will link again.

Oh Pav hun   :sad no:  You have just done the most loving thing you could of done for her. She knows that hun and your love for her has saved her from alot of pain.
It's gonna be alot of pain for you ,most of us know that awful hurt and are with you every step of the way.

Hun, She will never leave you, she and Boy will always be with you in your heart. If ya ever wanted to talk to them they will hear you. One day Pav hun when it's our time, we will be with them again, we will be able to cuddle and hold them . Until then, they know, they can see how much we love them , they become our guardian angels and always watch over us.
Only her life on earth has passed but her life soul carries on in you and on the bridge.

:candle: sweet girl, you rest easy now, play lots with Boy and all our wonderful babes on the bridge till we see you all again.

nothing can take the pain away, Pav

you have to suffer so that Phoebe doesn't have to any more - but we all know how very hard it is, and how inadequate words are
