Went to get her this afternoon  ;D
She has lost a bit of weight, but is bright and looks well  :Luv2: first thing she did was a huge wee and have a couple portions of food  :)

Have a follow up appointment on 11th august, so until then unless i hear otherwise its give her preds and synulox and hope for the best.
He expects its going to be asthma but is confused as you would normally get some signs before crashing like she did! Shes a special one my Lola  :Luv:

so glad there seems to be no underlying serious condition and Lola is already well on the mend

hope you get an accurate diagnosis -  perhaps they are wrong when they say pets don't get swine flu :scared:

Thanks for all your good wishes, think they all helped  :wow:
They did the tests today and she coped well with the GA, came round and breathing still good  ;D

All the escaped air has gone and her x rays showed further improvement. The camera found inflamed bronchi and mucus, the flushes were done to collect the mucus and under the microscope the cells were found to be inflammatory not cancer  :yayyy: :yayyy:  ;D :Luv:

Theres been samples sent off for further testing/checking but hes quite sure this is an inflammatory problem not a sinister one  :)
Shes continuing her antibiotics and started on steroids to help her bronchi out, all being well overnight i should get to pick her up tomorrow  :cheer: :cheer:

She will have to go back after 10-14 days when all the tests are in for follow up x rays and to make sure her meds are appropriate if a particular bacteria is found.

Happy Happy Happy!

I hope so Helen, keep thinking what if its cancer  :(

what a difference being in a place with the very latest equipment and techniques makes - I am sure they will get to the bottom of Lola's problems

but your insurance company is going to have kittens
Its definately reasuring, they have just about everything on site.
