Found this morning - black very furry moggy with white patches on the Brimstage Road just by the M53 on the Wirral. Poor mite had been hit by something and the traffic was going 'round him/her. I picked him up, but he was definitely gone, but still warm and bleeding. Stopped and took him out of the road, covered it over and put the mite away from him harm off the road. I couldn't take him anywhere as I live a long way away and was on way to work. Cats protection from South Wirral are going to check for a microchip (no collar) and take him away tonight.
Was heartbroken as it was obviously someone's baby and reminded me that's what could have happend to my Louis...
