I posted in the Alzheimers thread saying puss was going with the fairies.
I actually now think he is just simply dying on us. I've never had a cat just die of old age and at 16 he's not really that old. His confusion is so much worse now and he is losing weight fairly rapidly.

I've just been watching him lying half in one of the beds.
I don't think he's in pain, just simply dying.

I stopped the felimazole quite quickly as he was only borderline anyway and he was just withdrawing more into himself. So, I suppose the last hope is when it leaves his system he may pick up a bit but neither myself or OH can see that happening.

So once again we are down to that old addage, vet or no vet.......if only they could talk. :(
