They can be so funny when they spot another cat, cant they ?

Mr T sometimes sticks his head as far as he can through the balcony railings, to watch other cats.

Sometimes he can be quite vocal, too ....

Little downstars cat, Suzy, gets him going - she has come up the stairs and into our flat on a few occasions and they've had a good stare and a hiss....  I suppose he is warning her off his "patch"  ;)

Hilarious antics this morning

I was nearly late for work today as I was distracted by a very funny incident.  Mosi was sitting on the kitchen window sill and I could see he was a bit agitated.  I guessed there was a bird or squirrel on the grass out the front but when I looked it was a small cat (at first I thought it was a kitten) under a car parked outside my flat.  S/he was half under the car with front half out and she (I think it was probably a she) was staring intently at Mosi who couldn't get over seeing another cat outside   We don't see many cats outside due to being in a cul de sac off a main road.  There are a couple I have seen regularly, but they rarely come down as far as my flat.  Anyway, this little one was black with white socks and a small elfin face, and scored very high on the cuteness scale.  At first I was convinced she was a small kitten.  The pair of them tried to outstare each other with the little one edging ever so slowly out from under the car.  Eventually Mosi was lured away by breakfast, but the cat stayed there and every time I looked out of the window, I could see her stallking closer and closer to the window ever so slowly.  It was like she was walking in slow motion as I could see the front legs moving but like a film that had been slowed down.  Extremely amusing.  She couldn't take her eyes off the window, obv wondering if that big lion would come back!  My boys are so funny when they see another cat.  It happens so rarely it's like they can't believe they aren't the only 2 cats in the world.

I will look out for her when I get home - wonder if someone around here has got a new kitten.  When I could get a good look at her, I think she is probably almost grown up, just a small cat.  She was wearing a collar and looked well cared for so I don't think she's a stray, although I do worry a bit about her being outside close to a main road.
