And hopefully not sounding like a "told you so" - a good time for insurance now for peace of mind in the future. I have had Kylie insured for  years without a claim but it is there if needed.

Please dont take him there  :( sounds like a vet near me where i wouldnt send anything that was alive.

If you are going to struggle to cover an op talk to the vet now, you have paid up so much up until now and try to get a payment agreement.
Often they are ok after a second flush, it would be better if he stayed in longer this time and would work out cheaper then going back for a third time.

I dont know lower place but Desley might do through the rescue.
I use The Vets at Chadderton. I find they are really helpful about things.
I hope you can sort something out and hes ok again soon

Currently both ours are registered with crown house vets in Rochdale and have always been very very happy with them, monkey had his bladder squeezed empty on friday and a steroid shot and a box of food which came to the grand total of £16.75.  :wow:

Problem is monkey is blocked again so is going back to crown house tomorrow. they have said he will probably need to have the flushing done again but will be about £150 this we can afford however they have said if that doesnt work then he will have to be opened up which will cost a fair bit more, our problem is we simply cant afford this.

how the hell are we going to afford another big op? i really dont want to have him pts. :( any ideas?
