Just sneaking a peek at Rufus the Raucous.   ;D

Gorgeous lad!   Well, he's obviously got a full life ahead of him - born in Ethiopia, travelled to France and then to Liverpool, I suspect he has a rare old spirit of adventure in that handsome body.    It's very important when you're deaf you know that you shout loudly so everyone knows you're there.  :)

Absolutely delighted that he's been able to be reunited with his owners.  He's clearly adored.  I still recall the pain of losing two much loved cats, and the exhautive processes I went through to try and find each of them.    If he were mine, I'd not let him out again without his Mum!  :evillaugh:

I was going to say I shudder at the thought of the woman who picked him up, but you know if it hadn't have been for her, Rufus might not have found you, and ultimately been reclaimed by his rightful owners, so I take back that thought.  :-:

that's wonderful, Teresa  ;D

and the photo is great - you hardly need to describe the sound he makes, as you've clearly caught him in mid howl ;D

One evening last week an obnoxious woman turned up at the house with a stray cat,she made it perfectly clear that he would be dumped down a country lane if we didnt take him.
The cat a huge ginger and white boy (deaf) has driven us to the point of despair with his OOOOOOOOOOO AAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH day and night.
Unfortunately my scanner was out on loan until yesterday when we scanned and found a microchip,  microchip people were not answering phones yesterday so we had to wait until this morning to trace owners.
Well this huge lad is called Rufus and he was born in ETHIOPIA  :wow:, he then spent 6 months in quarantine in France before settling in Aigburth Liverpool only to get lost, he`s obviously hitched a ride and delighted owners have been warned to watch out for him sneaking into vehicles and to keep him in for a good while.
It is lovely to trace an owner and wonderful when they are so caring, they had exhausted all possible avenues within their own area and believed him dead, theres been lots of happy tears shed and as for that microchip worth its weight in gold.
