not sure MM, all I know is that it has been shown recently in HHP. There is an article on MEssybeast about a generation of male torties, all fertile, I think they are up to the third generation now - they are peds though, can't remember if they have a lot of tortie or not.

Ela's cat she lost recently was called Brindly leg.
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

I think it's unlikely with these two. I bet the chances of getting 2 male torties in one litter are very rare. I don't know the owner but my neighbour does. Even my neighbour wasn't convinced when I told him  :evillaugh:

Actually, you can get fertile male torties, as there are two ways to get a male tortie, one is normally sterile, one can reproduce. There is one being discussed on the US forum I use at the moment, he is a moggy but is being allowed to mate once to see if he is fertile or not.

Can't remember the numbers but Tortie boys are very rare and usually sterile as they are a hybrid. 1 in 100,000 or summatt! Very beautiful kitty regardless of gender, but don't be suprised if they get very fat and produce kittens before too long. The chances of Tortie brothers is -infint-estim (Oh butter, was try to do the lines through the word thingy!) is Against All Odds, I think I can hear something In The Air Tonight.
