He has the most amazing coat, so thick and dense and soft, I just want to dive into it :Luv: As for his eyelinered eyes :Luv2:

He's very cute, but doesn't look like a breed of any particular sort. Those 'blue' patches are adorable though :Luv2: :Luv2:

I can't imagine you would be involved in drafing his advertisements anyway Shona. That would be the responsibility of the rescue you are fostering for, so hardly your worry at all.. ;)

Little man now has free run with the others, or well, has for the last couple of hours and he and Bond LOVE each other, all playing and grooming each other :Luv:

I also managed to get another couple of pictures, they mostly show his face a bit better although I don't think they are giving a true impression of what he looks like but here goes anyway! I will work on a body shot :shify:

Oh I wouldn't dream of saying on an advert for him that he's got pedigree in him, just curious for myself really as he's unlike any moggy I've met. As I said before, those pictures aren't great and I also said "might". It's his head shape and coat that got me thinking.

I've got a Russian, and I can't see any in this kittie - Russians have upright, not angled, ears, green eyes and pronounced whisker pads

Yes I take it back,  it is a long time since I have had a Russian and just looked at their photos and no resemblance at all x

Oh sadly he's not my baby, I'm fostering for a rescue and get special needs cats :evillaugh: He's shy of hoomans so it's my job to convince him we're actually rather nice sometimes.

Maybe a cross with a Russian Blue ?,   they have a double coat,  really dense and lovely and they have the same sort of face as your baby

Right you lot, I have taken some (dodgy) pictures for you. Mostly just his face you can see and not great at that. I would like to add a disclaimer that he was purring during the whole process and never squirmed once ;D He actually likes a cuddle if you fetch him for one. Oh and they were done on the webcam too. I know he doesn't look impressed but I assure you he is still purring now :Luv:

I would go for Korat - probably crossed with NW Forest for stocky build and slanted eye shape or Somali (or moggie)  ;D  What colour is he?

or, (she says looking in her book  :evillaugh:) he could be crossed with American wirehair because they have sturdy body with large eyes which slant to the outer edge as do Exotic and American shorthairs

 :pic:  please

From memory as I am in bed and well, he hides it most of the time it tapers, in fact I think it really tapers, not a very long tail and fat at the bottom tapering lots to nice point. I will confirm when he deigns to show me his tail again.

Edit: Curiosity got the better of me, went for a look. I was wrong, it is I suppose a normal length tail but definitely tapers from fat to very thin.

Actually, can I retract that? I just remembered that the burmese strain in NZ is rather more streamlined than the Oz one so they are inclined to have siamese bodytypes rather than the nice chunky body an Ozzie burmese would have - does the tail stop short and seem as if a bit is missing (i.e. a relatively square end to the tail instead of a taper?)

Gonna stick my neck out here in view of the absence of photos and vote for Burmese cross or possibly even pure ...

He's been here since Sunday and is settling well and I hope to start letting him have run of the house with the other two over the weekend. Anyway, I have managed to have some cuddles with him and I'm beginning to suspect he's a bit of a cross with something, just not sure what. He's a much strudier/solid build than a moggy kitten, his fur is different too. Denser but still lovely and snuggly and his head is a different shape too a bit broader and slightly flatter and his eyes are higher at the outer corners too. He's an absolute stunner I have to say.

Yes, I know you want pictures, I just don't have any yet but will over the weekend. Then we can have a big debate as to whether he is a bit posh or not :sneaky:
