I think he'll be ready for a forever family in no time if he keeps up this progress
He now shouts at me from the end of the kitchen units when I'm in there to feed him, feeding time or not. Rubs up against the nearest door/corner/coffee table leg if he thinks there's a tasty morsel on offer, doing squeaky purrs the whole time. Doesn't immediately dart off when I move. Sleeps at about calf level and doesn't so much as flinch if I move/kick him in my sleep. He even dropped and rolled when I was chatting to him earlier, giving me a full belly stretch.
He is still very skittish but if you get him relaxed wnough and approach slowly he will take all the attention you give and reward you with lovely purrs.
His favourite spot is in front of the fire, likes watching it and sleeping in front of it. I apologise for the state of the carpet, but it is in front of the fire and I don't yet own a vacuum cleaner
