Glad she is OK. I would probably play it safe and give 1/2 a piriton in this situation in case there is swelling blocking airways. It sounds like she is fine now anyway

My cat Piccalli was out with me this afternoon in the garden,  at about 5PM she ate something from the grass,  could have been a bee or a wasp or something else,  she immediately was sick and carried on being sick or attempting to be sick for about 30 minutes,  her breathing was really fast and she was very aggitated,  she calmed down and ever since has been sleeping on the sofa really quietly,  she wont eat or drink and is definitely not herself,   (poisoning is not a possibility,  we live on an organic farm and there are no chemicals at all used),  so has she been stung in the throat or something worse,  I dont know if I should take her to the vets,  they are closed now and my vets is a £190 call out,  I have the money,  (wouldnt be able to eat for a few weeks !) ,  it is not really the money I am worried about,  it is Piccalli,  should I leave her to see how she is in a few hours or take her to the vets ?  she is purring and sleeping but def not herself,  has anyone else had a cat eat a bee or a wasp ?,  what happens ?,  thanks in advance for you help x
