I thought it looked like a scale like you weigh babies in!

LOL! - yes it does a bit doesnt it?

Here's mark 2 - the one I made for upstairs (well, when I say made.... :innocent: ) - thought I'd go for a diferent colour dish, but I don't like it as much as the white dish, and this dish doesnt fit quite as well - its a bit wobbly, needs some refining methinks.....

You are on to a really great idea. Cats that get sick (colds, CRF, liver, whatever) have to eat with their heads up to try to prevent a regurg but this is the first time I know of that they can drink with their heads up a bit too. And drinking can make them sick. I think you should market them! It looks good too and so does the model in the photo

Designer drinking bowl?

My cats love to drink out of the shallow terracotta plant saucers I've got outside on the patio and thought I'd do something similar indoors, instead of the metal bowls. I used the metal frame (you know, the type that holds two bowls?) - tried it with the china dish (which I already had) sat on top, was a bit wobbly, so turned the metal frame thingy upside down, and it was perfect because the rubber feet kind of cradle the dish and hold it stable - worked a treat! Looks good too - well I think so anyway (Angie - want to comment on taste?!!!  :evillaugh: ) Anyway, here's Sam, giving it his seal of approval...
