I'm happy to hear that I'm not the only one with a cat that does this.    My other cat doesn't do it but Ollie does always come across like he loves me very very much and can't get enough of me whereas Harvey just ain't bothered as long as he's fed (oh, and he likes a cuddle first thing in the morning).

The winking/slow blinking thing is a way of showing you they are content. :)

Old Mog literally just sits and stares, at me usually but sometimes my partner gets the honour too. I think she's trying to remember who we are. :tired:

Yup, Smidgen does that all the time, though at present he has his back to me in no uncertain terms ... :scared:

Esther too has been know to do it.

The dog just comes and puts his head on the computer keyboard and shifts it about so you can't type ...

Trigger sits for ages at my feet and stares at me - it isn't  :Luv2: though

he is trying to hypnotise me into going into the kitchen and getting him something to eat - he gives the game away by shooting off ahead of me the minute I show signs of stirring :innocent:

What would we do without our Babies and their foibles. We love them because cats have personalities.

I'm not sure - I think he blinks.  It's really weird and it used to freak me out but now I'm totally used to it.

Does he blink? Trouble sits in front of me and does slow blinks/winks.

Does anyone else's cat just come and sit at their feet and stare at you?

Ollie will often either sit right at my feet or at the wall opposite me when I'm on the couch and just sits and stares at me for hours on end, just watching everything I'm doing.  He won't take his eyes off me.
