Oh no and that is sucjh an unusual ornament too.

Yeh, my neigbours brought it back from somewhere abroad where they went to get married, can't remember where it was now, but anyway, its made of soapstone, and I didnt realise that when I used polish on it when dusting, that the pattern comes off!  :innocent:

I think you might have toinvest in some blue tac to fasten them down or a glass cabinet which is what I di a while back.  I bought it so I didn't have to do as much dusting, not that anything was getting broke

You don't have a mad Maine Coon shedding all over then, at least the birds are getting loads of nest lining. 8)

oh gillian... life is certainly never dull with kitties is it!

I think they just like to keep us on our toes.... and they always do it at the most annoying time!!!  lol   with our lot its usually someone brings up a lovely hair ball or is sick on the bed JUST before we are about to get in!!!  instant change of covers initiated and great fun for them as they try to play and chase the covers as we make it and lots of I'm gonna kill that cat.... moments from us!   lol

Nothing sacred - Part Two

I really am gonna swing for those cats - there I am watching a bit of telly, eating my tea, when BANG! all the lights go off, the telly goes off, I thinking WTF? Then I remember, this has happened before, I go out to the kitchen and yes, there is Joe on the worktop going 'who me'? and trying to hide a very suspicious puddle that is accumulating behind him,  just below the switch for the cooker..........Yep, he's managed to trip the trip switch. Now I've had to go round switching everything off to get the trip to stay on - and theres always something you forget to switch off and can't understand why the trip isnt staying on!! Mutteriing under my breath about  :censored: cats while I hunt out the last switch - and finally, the trip stays on, and I go round turning everything back on again - apart from the the cooker, just in case. And a nice peaceful evening was had by all  :-:

Flippin joys of........ :tired:
