No the fur colour. In the picture of 'mummy' below you can see her fur is black, red and white as she is a tortie with white. In a 'dilute tortie' with white the fur is blue and cream with white.

Rather than being black and red (with or without hite) they are blue and cream (with or without white). To get a dilute cat both parents need to carry the dilute gene.

They are lovely  :Luv:

Please follow up their neuterings, dilute torties are not very common and people can get ideas for trying to make money.  :-:

 @ tans censoring..dogs grapes !! thats a good one LOL

yes i like performance cars etc and i love speed (not the drug lol) but an old banger evo think its the first type that looks totally dated and needs about 1 - 2 k spent on it every year coz of electrical etc probs isnt what i consider to be a "smart" car , oh and just coz its got a "dump valve" doesnt mean it has an extra 100 horse LOL --- my friends hubbys is such a bore about his car.

now at the moment im quite fancying a minara (sp ?) of failing that my love for a mercedes mclaren or an astin LOL

but i suppose i'll have to stick to my passat  that aint too bad as its 4x4 + 280bhp LOL. (yep we're into cars and bikes here aswell)

Kez - dont worry too much about weaning, they will learn from mum how to do that, just make sure from about 4 or 5 weeks there is another plate of nice mushy wet food so they can try it out if they want to. Good luck with the names.

Hey, that's not fair....  I saw your name next to this thread as being the last poster and rushed in expecting to see more pics - only to see you are teasing us!

What sort of names do you like - real 'human' ones or non human?

my problem would be if it was my 2 1/2 daughter and furry baby is if i let her hold it she'd want to do it all the time (novelty only natural) Apart from a little check over each day i dont think such young babies need to be picked up really much at all

I agree with all you say and can understand why Anya would think it OK to pick up the little one.

i love the pics and the little red one esp is just lush, not that i am biased or anything LOL

Ela i do agree completely with you and prevention is better than cure / fix.  my problem would be if it was my 2 1/2 daughter and furry baby is if i let her hold it she'd want to do it all the time (novelty only natural) Apart from a little check over each day i dont think such young babies need to be picked up really much at all.

Kerri im glad you are sticking with us and hopefully you'll pick up useful advice from us and vice versa.  I would say ive got a fair bit of experience and knowledge but am glad to say i have learned lots from others here and am continuing to do so.  (you are now possibly in a good position to help others who are worried about cats with young children and now also what to do if their cat is going to have kittens) we all have different experiences and we can share them and our knowledge through wonderful forums like this one. ;D

Looking forward to next lot of pics, have you named the babies yet ?

Maybe she should have, but we all do things we shouldn't and fail to do things we should.  It's called being human, so don't be too hard on yourself.

don't feel like that, when they come you will be over joyed, i was really scared by what everyone was telling me, if it was to go wrong, my partner was stressed as i was going on and on when she was giving birth thinking something would go wrong, i wish i just enjoyed her having them, i think i panicked mitsey as well, just keep clam and if anything was to happen you've got the vets to hand, I'm sure this wont happen, just enjoy

Forever, don't be so hard on yourself. You're trying to do what's best for your cats and sometimes it's hard to know what that is. She's going to be spayed now and that's what matters.
