I was another who thought he looked lovely - well done to you for giving him all the home comforts, love and care he needed.  I know it's heartbreaking and bittersweet time but I hope you both enjoy your time together.

Thanks guys - can't wait to get him home, although I know it won't be for long. :(

Please give him a gentle fuss for me.

Will do - we've kept tomorrow free for lots of lap time, love & cuddles.

I remember MeToo as well. He's such a lovely looking old lad. I know it must be heartbreaking for you, but for all you've given him I honestly believe that will have made so much difference to MeToos quality of life.

Please give him a gentle fuss for me.

Metoo - Goodbye Fella

My darling fella is now in the end stage of kidney failure - he barely ate last week and was admitted to the vets Saturday morning and has been on a drip ever since.

The vets have just rung with his blood test results - creatinine 869 & urea 56.

He is still eating a little and hasn't been sick, so he'll remain on fluids overnight and we are going to collect him tomorrow morning and take things on a hour by hour basis.

We only lost Martha a month yesterday and this has hit us both really hard.

Just needed to share really...

Here's the web pic of him in the rescue that we saw and couldn't resist:
