Best prices on Prescription food?

Not yet - I will try some. Its a shame I don't have more Okoplus litter left as I used the last yesterday and planning to get more at PAH tomorrow - otherwise I would have ordered some renal food + litter to make up my order. I will see how they go on the RC. Clapton does like variation and is really keen on Tesco beef & liver alutrays, even with a scoop of Ipakitine added - something I can't get away with in foods with jelly.

although it isn't prescription food, I have taken to buying the large size of Porta21 tins, and freezing part of it as soon as I open it, with some extra water added - this way I end up not having any waste, and getting more liquid into the cats too, as the freezing and defrosting process seems to make it more flavoursome

it has saved me a lot of money

I will place my order tomorrow morning. It seems neither of them will eat the Tuna, Clapton is happily eating the beef and Willow eats a bit. Luckily she is happy eating her food with Renalzin in - well at least perfect fit wet which costs as much as prescription food (or will do when the market stuff finishes). Clapton is OK eating smelly  Tesco own brand pate pouches with Ipalitine in but won't eat senior food with it in  this is getting complicated  - I will order a few boxes of beef RC renal and take a chance on the chicken - and maybe try some alutrays.

I always got mine from Vet UK - much cheaper than the vet (although got the first couple of boxess from there before buying bulk) and, as Desley says, a charity can benefit.  The delivery is very efficient too (and well packed, unlike some).

At least with VetUK you can make money for charity Mark. That is a very good price though, RC food is over £8 a box at my vet (and I think that is through the charity account) - I would be tempted to stock up, in case it goes up

Thanks - I checked but they were slightly more expensive than VetUK - Also you have to buy 48 of one flavour at a time.Looks like VetUK it is then  - they are usually reasonable for most things but I was just trying to find it  bit cheaper as this is going to be a long term thing for 2 cats  - I am not going to put up with waste like I usually do. They will get 1/2 pouch at a time rather than a pouch each and leave 1/2

I am trying to find the best deal on renal pouches

VetUK are £6.77 for 12. There is another site slightly cheaper (ie 10p a box) but you have to buy 48 of one flavour at a time. There was one site charging over £63 for 48 pouches  - anyone know of anywhere cheaper than vetUK?
