Campaign launched to halt animal testing

I couldn't look at the link, i have enough awful pics in me head but ya so right Sonya 

One thing that always got me was with the testing using mice & rats injecting cancer cells etc The thing is that Mice and Rats have a completely diff body set up than we have and the cancer will always grow differently and in mice. So all that testing was completely useless and millions of mice were tourchered for nothing.

They use primates alot now and  Begal dogs, cats etc ohhhh you do not want to know what they do to them alive and suffering. It makes be feel phyically sick  .  I dont blame these people who just want to get them out of the labs. Death would be blizz for these animals.

I used to be a member of animal aid and saw lots of awful things where animals are used for experiments on cosmetics and medical  tests with no reguard for their welfare and kept in appualing conditions. Those sceanes will never leave my head     

This is such a very important petition, PLease please get everyone you can to sign it.

Europeans opposed to animal experimentation are calling for an end to the practice.
Animal protection groups across Europe have launched a massive pan-European petition calling on the European Union (EU) to increase action on replacing animal experiments with non-animal techniques. The petition has been launched in response to the planned revision of Europe's desperately out-of-date, 20-year-old legislation governing the practice.
Animal and patient advocacy groups are urging the EU to use the revision of the legislation (Directive 86/609) as a spring board to increase efforts to replace animal experiments with more humane and scientifically relevant non- animal techniques. Currently, more than 13 million animal experiments take place in Europe every year.
Wendy Higgins, Communications Director from the Dr Hadwen Trust for humane Research, said: "There's unlikely to be a better moment than this for the European Union to really commit to meaningful action to replace animal experiments. It would be disastrous if we let it slip through our fingers."
Signatures are being collected in 11 European languages, making this one of the biggest pan-European petition launches of its kind.
