The hairy problem seems to have calmed down too. I've brushed and brushed him and there doesn't seem to be as much coming out  I no longer have an extra layer on my carpets.

Oh and we have called him Finley which he seems to react to very well. I couldn't stand the thought of him being named after a murderer.

Well he seems to like it here!  ;) He's flaked out on the rug in front of the fire.  :Luv2:

From his behaviour we don't think he's had much socialising, walking on a lead or playtime. Today he's been throwing the chicken and dinosaur around the sitting room. That is the first time he has played.

He can open doors, he pushes the handle down and then grasps it between his paws and pulls it towards him.

At night he is sleeping under our bed then he goes and gets in his bed. If Snookie barks at him he goes under there too!!!

The cats are getting a bit more used to him. Fred was playing with his tail earlier!

I can't seem to upload any photos yet as they need resizing and I have no idea how to do this. I'll get some more later and hope they are small enough. I know I'm useless!

Yep, but that's not really doing anything - just a transference of information already available. ;)

A few pics we took of Cain, not that good because they were in the car, the first one is with his new boot and bone but a bit blurry!

Well I'll start again! >:(

It's been eventful!

He lay in the back of the car and rested his head on my knee and kept getting up and kissing Dave! Found a littlle friend on him and sent that packing out of the car window at 70mph  So he had a bath and has been Frontlined too! Yes He does have a lot of hair! I was covered and the bath was full :evillaugh:

He seems to like cheese and certainly liked my cheese sandwich. He also managed to pinch a loaf of bread off the worktop! I rescued it though!

The cats have all met him and he got a bloody nose from Molly. Trevor headbutted him, Keidis hid under the table, Basil got a paw on the top of his head and Fred just gazed at him!!

He's eating well and has just done his first poo (had to share that!!).

There was alot of barking when he got out of the car and met the other dogs, but after a quick sniff  he was fine. I was towed off up the road, he is so strong, so off to PAH I went. Bought him a Halti harness and he walked beautifully in it.

He has got a proper husky tail and his ears are furry like a huskys too, but they fold back like a Lurchers! The rest of him is pure Lurcher. :Luv2:

So apart from a few run ins with the cats and a growl at Penny the Beagle over a bone he has been fine. :evillaugh:

Not been in long we went for a ride after dropping Cain off with Rachael.  It was lovely to meet Karen and Rachael and her husband :) I did log on while we were out to check Karen got back ok but couldn't post because was on OH's iphone.  Cain is just gorgeous, he was so well behaved and so loveable.  He kept sticking his face in mine and Steve's  :evillaugh: he just wanted fuss  :Luv2: he's a fab dog and should be really happy in his new home!  I have taken some pics of him but they were in the car so not sure how well they will turn out.

We've been to PAH today  ;D and bought him a toy boot and a chewy bone to keep him happy on the way  :Luv2:
