When Moss passed away a few months after having him, we decided to get another rescue in order to honour the little guy that passed on and also to try and ensure a cat had a decent home. A few phone calls were made and one lady said she had passed on a cat to a local rescue. So we contacted them straight away and went to see him. It was obvious he hadn't been looked after very well. He hadn't been treated to the eye problem where it looks like they'r cross eyed and he smelt of smoke. But straight away he enjoyed being stroked and sorta found it overwhelming in that he would keep on falling over. Was unsure at first if this was a problem with his nerves but time has proven him to be okay. The rescue said they'd normally keep him for a few weeks (or months, can't remember) but we said we'd really like to take him quicker...a check of our house a few days later and we rescued him.
This is him when we got him:
Saffi soon took him under her wing (the rescue woman was pleased with how well Saffi had taken to him)
They both had someone to snuggle upto once more:
This is him now:
He's now our very own adventurer. If Saffi is our house cat (she doesent like going out) he's the outdoor one. Always going off adventuring..once he didn't come back which worried us somewhat - was out walking till 2AM in the morning! lol) then he came back the following morning as we were talking about doing flyers etc.
Unlike Saffi, he does like to be stroked on his own terms(she likes being stroked whenever!) but we attribute this to his tough start in life. But when he does like being stroked, he collapses to the floor and exposes his belly. hehe
A bit like this...
