Sophie is confusing me.....

That's what they do, Robbo... drive you nuts trying to figure out how you've upset them when you've done nothing wrong.  A cat wouldn't be a cat unless it punished you for something at least once a day. The staring you out is a classic punishment... I expect you're sitting in the seat she fancies sitting in.

All perfectly normal and in time you'll get used to it.

When she had a collar on you probably tickled all the bits she couldnt get to, you have now lost your usefullness!

i always head rub her when she is close and she likes it, then moves away...i have put her on my knee etc and she never struggles when i pick her up anyway...she will sit for a few seconds then jumps off and walk a bit n sits on the floor lol

she sounds as if she's waiting for you to initiate contact with her, I woud give her a stroke, just take it as it comes, if she's had enough she'll let you know

 right.....normally she will come up and sit with me when im in bed.....downstairs she might pop over for the off head rub etc but generally likes to play and sit on her bill.....

the last two days tho she wont come on me at all....she might come sit next to the bed and just staiiirrrr at me lol

have i dont somthing wrong? is she upset? or is she just having a mood swing?

i dont want to interfere much but i dont want her to get into a pattern of not being stroked etc.

it seems to be since her collor was taken off
