I knew we had had some interest in him, fingers crossed you can convince your hubby. He isn't actually in our care at the mo, so I haven't met him yet, but he sounds lovely from what the bloke who needs to rehome him told me.

I was there myself today, I foster for a charity in Shaw, it was lovely and sunny. Name Shabba sounds familiar too!! It will be upsetting for your daughter if something happens to a pet, but sadly it is all part of life, and something she is going to have to come into contact throughout her life.

this looks a brilliant forum and everyone looks friendly
at the moment we have 2 dogs, both rescued and pond full of fish
we did have a puddy cat but sadly he got knocked over last year

i have seen another that i have and fell in love with and he is from local rescue 
but have to get round hubby as he says its too upsetting for daughter when anything happens to them
