I have to admit I was glad that she didn't start at 2am.... and at least I managed to get some sleep last night!
Mum Skye is doing really really well. Which if I'm honest has surprised me a tad. She has been with us throughout her pregnancy and to say she was fiery when she arrived would be a massive understatement! At only 15 months old, her 2nd pregnancy and with her temper broken from a home with
kids and constant stress she was not a happy bunny. After weeks of patience and working with her we finally got to start tickling her chin and head rubs about 3 weeks ago so I was amazed when she was SOOO good this morning.
As soon as I went to check on her she came right up to me and almost sat on my knee for the whole thing. (wasn't in the most comfortable position on the floor... but she was and that was what mattered.)
Skye has slept soundly since and is completely exhausted and babies are curled up nicely with mummy. She is so proud of them too and when you pop in to check on them she will roll over and show them off
Am now off for a cuppa and some 'me' time.... but hope to get some better piccies to show off the babies and mummy later!
