god I am so stupid, I read that as 1kg to 500grams (well didn't read obviously!!) and was very confused!  £6 postage for 500 grams seemed a lot!

Gillian how much per day do you feed each cat?

I would say, approx equivalent of a 100g/125g pouch twice a day. They seem to take longer to eat the raw because there is more chewing involved (even the minced meats), although George usually finishes his pretty quickly lol!

I give raw chicken, turkey and beef.  I just give them pieces now and again (if I'm cooking with meat I wouldn't dare not give them a bit - I don't give them raw pork though).  I also give raw chicken wings to Jaffa.  If it's just a treat, you don't need to worry about adding anything.  If it's making up more than about 10% of the diet then you need to think about making it a balanced meal by adding a supplement or making sure you feed organs, bones etc.

you can have too many vitamins, you're better off doing what you are doing, the dry food should have everything she needs

Max has a wet and dry diet, and the occasional bit of raw meat chucked in for good measure as a treat.

He loves beef mince and will go absolutely crazy for raw chicken, although I only give him a small amount of this.

I know others on here give raw chicken wings, the bones are fine as long as they are not cooked, its only when they're cooked that they can splinter and be dangerous

No, you wouldnt need to add anything at all to the back 2 nature meats, even if you were feeding it more times than that. Nor the turkey chunks if it was just once a week, or even couple of times a week really.

These meats are pretty reasonably priced and good quality (antibiotic/hormone free etc) www.back-2-nature.co.uk . The meat includes muscle, organs and bones for a balanced meal.

But if you just wanted to give her something as a treat, turkey chunks from Morrisons are popular with my lot!

.......well kind of raw food.....i dont really want to go into the full raw diet etc due to time and money.......Sophie currently has Applaws dry and Applaws wet, and i am also looking for another wet food (not sure yet).....but i was trying to find raw foods i could use just to give her as a treat, like chicken of fish for e.g....but i am totally clueless in this area....any help appreciated, i just want her to have a good balanced diet

does what she is getting sound ok?

i am paranoid and just want to know that she is getting everythin she needs lol
