I finally managed to speak to a human at Halifax today to complain about why I have left numerous messages on their claim form line since January asking for a claim form and have still not received one and that them not sending me a claim form has delayed my cats treatment. The woman was very apologetic and has said that she has no idea why one hasn't been sent out but she will put it in today's post for me!
Been a total nightmare as I haven't been able to make Boopy's appt for her dental review and xray (she had a root canal last May after deciding to crunch a ceramic ornament!!) until I knew the form had been sent out as I have to take the form with me on the day for the dentist to fill in. Thankfully I've managed to make the appt in plenty of time for the form to get back to Halifax before the end of Boopy's policy year so I won't have to pay the excess again.
Now I just have to wait until after her appt on March 25th to find out what Halifax are like for paying out for dental continuation claims! It's a shame with pet insurance that you can't claim any travel costs back when you have to travel long distances to see a specialist.
