Yes, Sabby has learned to salute on demand! He always goes up on his back legs to greet me, and I always put out my hand to receive the ensuing head butt. Today, for some reason, I didn't put out my hand, at which Sabby raised his left paw until it was over his eye .... meltingly cute! So I invited him to greet again, and again didn't put out my hand to him, and again he 'saluted', so I put my hand to my eye and said 'salute!'. From there he has learned to salute! Oh it's soooooo very very cute!
