I've had Ollie to the vets today and have been given some Antirobe, Im hoping for a drastic improvement. My worry is trying to get them into him, the vet said they dont normally use them for cats because they are hard to get down, but he knows they work very well for dogs.
So how am I going to get them into him? Ollie is very good at taking his steriods they are only small pills, but this Antirobe is capsules about 2cm long. The vet said I can open the capsule and put it into tuna or something, but Ollie dosnt like tuna
So for others that have to use capsules, how do you get the cat to take it? I have been thinking mix with a little water in a syringe, but Im worried he may not get the effect. He needs this whole course in the hope it will kill the infection.
